Dog: Smokies + Barataria trails ban dogs; BRP, Gettysburg, Chalmette allow leashed. Stretch loops over the 200 cap: Mt Mitchell 218 · Dragon+Cherohala 243 (or split into two days) — rider's call. Loops are OSRM-routed with shaping waypoints — distances ±10%; parkway segments verified by waypoint but double-check closures seasonally.
